Dress for Friday
To All - This seems to be a common question for all, “What type of dress should we plan for the reunion?” We will plan to keep our activities in the cultural hall, so we should be just fine with “nice casual dress”. To further clarify that for the sisters, Sister Johnson says that she will be wearing “nice pants”. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Again, please let me know if you are planning to be there so we can be sure and have enough tables and chairs set up. Also, Please bring your favorite dish for refreshments. Regarding: Missionary Reunion October 3, 2008
Dear Former Missionaries, It is hard to imagine, but another year has gone by. I hope that this has been a good year for you because it has certainly been a great year for Sister Johnson and me. We are making plans for our next missionary reunion for the Alabama Birmingham Mission, which will be on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
We extend an invitation to all those who have served a mission in the Alabama Birmingham Mission or those who have special ties to those who have served a mission in Alabama. We are especially interested in seeing those who served during the same time that Sister Johnson and I served.
We have been looking forward to this time, when we have the opportunity to see and visit with as many of you as possible, since you were so much a part of lives during the time that we served in Alabama. We recognize that many of you will not be able to come to the reunion, because of distance or other circumstances, but we would certainly enjoy hearing from you. Please send us a note and let us know what is happening in your life.
We are planning to meet in the "Downtown Chapel" in Salem, Utah this year, which is home for Sister Johnson and me. Now I don't want anyone to get lost finding the "Downtown Chapel", so here is the address along with other details for the reunion. I have also attached a map and directions, which will hopefully let you know where Salem is located in relation to the rest of the world. Please bring your favorite dish for refreshments.
